Dutch Course for Beginners

Course description

This course covers the basics of learning the Dutch language. You will develop all relevant skills: writing, reading, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary. This course is set up as an offline course and classes will take place at International Center in the city center of Tilburg. If you are starting a Dutch course for the first time, this is the course for you! → Starting: Monday February 9th. → Weekly classes on Mondays from 19.30 to 21.30. → Final exam: Monday June 22nd at 19.00. A minimum effort is required to pass the course: → Make four hours of homework every week. → Miss no more than three classes. → Make all writing assignments and pass the final test. You will need to order the book 'Nederlands in Gang' from Coutinho separately. We will cover the first 9 chapters in the A1 course and the second 9 chapters in the A2 course. Please reflect if this course fits your needs: → You've read through our FAQ and are aware what kind of course you're registering for. → You're able to study homework prior to the class by yourself. → You have the time to commit to 4 hours of preparation per week. → You're familiar with the English language. To simplify funding the course, we offer different payment plans. You pay an initial deposit of €150 and select your preferred payment plan during checkout. We will share payment requests each month depending on your selected plan. → For employers, our courses are deductible costs. If your employer wants to sponsor this course, please reach out. → For labor migrants working for temp agencies, your employer can apply for a 'Doorzaam Nederlands Taalbudget' subsidy. If you are unable to finish the course, you are still obligated to fulfill the payments. → Refunds cannot be provided in case this course's format changes due to force majeur. → We have a refund/cancellation policy, please read it carefully before booking so you are properly informed. → The course fee excludes the book of Coutinho that we use during class.
